Chris Welch, a Sussex-based mechanical engineer, owns C A Welch Engineering. Chris has over 30 years of brickyard and aggregate experience and a wealth of knowledge in heavy engineering and maintenance. The business needed to be discoverable online to show Chris's capabilities and contact information and attract new clients.

I built the C A Welch Engineering website in HTML and CSS many years ago. As the business has continued to grow, so have Chris's capabilities. The website needs more frequent updates, so I recently moved it to Squarespace.
The website already had a simple, clean design, so I could quickly transfer everything to the new platform. Squarespace's well-designed systems allowed a smooth transition when launching the new site and integrating an SSL certificate.
Chris now has the flexibility to add more case studies and update other information himself. Although I'm sure I will continue to make these updates for him as he is my dad! :)
Logo & Branding
Having used a word art font for his logo on vehicles and business cards for many years, his business branding needed a refresh before creating a website. I made a simple text-based logo with a circular icon to represent the all-encompassing nature of his work.
